Girl, 13, hit by stray bullet in Pico Rivera shooting

The shooting occurred about 4:10 p.m. in front of an apartment building in the 5400 block of Rosemead Boulevard in Pico Rivera, said Pico Rivera sheriff’s Lt. Christopher Reed. The girl, who is listed in stable condition at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg, was believed to have been struck by a bullet intended for someone else, Reed said.
