first_imgNeil Shipperley believes Neil Warnock will quickly win over the Crystal Palace squad.Warnock has returned to Selhurst Park to take charge of the south London club for a second time, signing a two-year contract to succeed Tony Pulis.Shipperley worked under the Yorkshireman during his first spell as Palace boss and he believes the 65-year-old will prove a popular appointment with the players.“When I played under him, I loved everything about him,” said the former striker, speaking on the Hawksbee and Jacobs show.“His man management skills are second to none. Being a manager you can’t please everyone, but the majority will buy into what he is after.“The way he treats you is different to other managers. There is no ego. You have to buy into what he wants and do what he says, but his success rate is good.“He has got that knack. There’s not many managers who you really want to do well for and will run through brick walls for, but he gets that out of you.”last_img
